She started her career as a model in the field. V Channel elected her as the fresh face in the year of 2008 and in the same year she got Femina Miss India. Before it she was a software engineer and developed an application for iPhone named 'fontswap'. Her sister Shagun Pannu planning to come to film field.
She did modeling for major companies like Reliance, RedFM, Coca Cola, Havells, Tata Docomo, PVR Cinimas, Airtel, Pantaloon etc. She started her actress career on 2010 in a telungu film named Jhummandi Naadam. After it she entered in to tamil film industry named Aadukalam heroin of Dhanush. That film won 6 national awards include best actor for Dhanush.
She acted with Mr. Mammootty in a malayalam film but it was a great flop.
